We are happy to announce that we have been awarded the structural site inspections for the new high rise building and commercial center “Phase 1 of Hat@Queen Alexandra south of Whyte Avenue in Edmonton, Alberta. The Hat at Old Strathcona will transform a surface level parking lot into a mixed use development that will consist of multiple residential towers, and ground level retail space.
Phase 1 will include an 18 floor residential tower in the north-west corner, a commercial podium, and three level underground parkade.
In this project we will do the structural inspections on behalf of our long term partners Glotman Simpson Consulting Engineers as well as providing third party review for the formworks and scaffolding systems for Cemrcok Concrete & Construction.. Site photos will be shared along the way of the project.

The new mixed use building will transform the Whyte avenue area near the 105 street and 104 street. It will help to provide a new portfolio of rental suites to help tackle the housing crisis.
